How to install Diffuser?

2025 01/03

Installation and Operation Guide for fine bubble air diffuser
The following is a standardized installation process and precautions for membrane disc diffuser based on industry practice, applicable to industrial wastewater treatment scenarios:
1. Preparation before installation
Environmental inspection
Ensure that the interior of the aeration diffuser tank is clean, free of sharp debris residue, well ventilated, and in compliance with equipment safety operating standards.
Equipment and Tools
Verify the model, quantity, and completeness of accessories of the aerator, and prepare tools such as electric wrenches, level rulers, and sealing materials.
Security protection
Construction personnel are required to wear safety helmets, anti slip shoes, and fall protection equipment. Ventilation equipment and emergency lighting should be installed during pool operations.
2. Core installation steps
Positioning and bracket installation
According to the design drawings, mark the installation position of the aerator with a level ruler to ensure that the longitudinal spacing error is ≤ 5cm.
The fixed adjustable bracket is reinforced with stainless steel bolts, and the bearing capacity of the bracket needs to be 1.5 times higher than the vibration load of the equipment during operation.
Pipeline connection and sealing
The main pipeline is connected by flanges or threads, and corrosion-resistant sealant is used at the interface between the branch pipe and the aerator to avoid air leakage.
For tubular aerators, the membrane installation needs to be vertically aligned, and manual tensile testing is required after tightening the clamps.
Equipment fixation and debugging
Insert the aerator into the bracket slot, fix it with bolts, and check the levelness. The allowable deviation is ≤ 2mm/m.
Connect the cables of the intelligent control system, complete the preliminary power on test, and verify the uniformity of aeration and oxygen mass transfer efficiency.
3. Key precautions
Anti clogging design
In high fiber wastewater scenarios such as papermaking and printing and dyeing, priority should be given to using dynamic and static ring aerators with self-cleaning functions, and maintenance channels should be reserved during installation.
Safety operation standards
Close the aeration branch valve before dismantling the vertical pipe, and use ropes to secure the flatboat to prevent construction personnel from falling into the water.
Energy saving optimization
Using thermal expansion and contraction compensation joints, 5% -10% expansion space is reserved during pipeline laying to reduce long-term operating energy consumption.
