1、 Core purpose
Disc diffuser inject air or pure oxygen into water bodies to increase dissolved oxygen concentration (DO), support microbial degradation of organic matter, and remove volatile pollutants, which is the core process of activated sludge wastewater treatment.
2、 Core mechanism
Bubble generation and diffusion
Micro hole cutting: Air is cut into tiny bubbles (diameter ≤ 2mm) through membrane disc diffuser micro holes or special structures (such as swirl rings, dynamic cores), increasing the gas-liquid contact area.
Kinetic energy conversion: High speed rotating components (such as jets, dynamic cores) convert fluid kinetic energy into bubble diffusion energy, enhancing oxygen dissolution efficiency.
Improved oxygen transfer efficiency
Shear and turbulence: through turbulence in the throat of the jet ejector, high-frequency oscillation or swirl collision of the diffuser, the facial mask of the gas-liquid interface is destroyed, the mass transfer resistance is reduced, and the migration of oxygen molecules to the water body is accelerated.
Extended contact time: Small bubbles rise slowly and stay for more than 30 seconds to ensure sufficient oxygen dissolution.
3. Performance optimization direction
Material upgrade: Graphene reinforced EPDM membrane is used, with a 40% increase in tear strength and an extended service life of 8-15 years.
