Today one set of dissolved air flotation system was delivered to Iraq.
The working principle of daf dissolved air flotation is to generate tiny bubbles, causing suspended particles, oil, and other impurities in the water to adhere to the bubbles and float to the water surface with the bubbles, thereby achieving solid-liquid separation.
The main process flow of daf system is as follows:
Mixing and dissolving gases: usually air is injected into water through a bubble generator or other system to form tiny bubbles.
Attachment and buoyancy: The generated bubbles attach to suspended particles, reducing their density and causing them to float to the surface of the liquid.
Sludge removal: On the surface of a liquid, floating particles form a sludge layer, which can be removed by scraping devices or other methods.
Water discharge: The cleaned water can be extracted from the liquid surface for further treatment or directly discharged.
