Tube diffuser including EPDM TUBE DIFFUSER and SILICONE TUBE DIFFUSER is an efficient, low resistance, and long-life sewage treatment oxygenation equipment widely used in urban and industrial wastewater treatment systems. It has significant advantages such as high oxygen utilization rate, low clogging, and improved maintenance.
Fine Bubble Tube Diffuser is an important type of microporous aeration technology, mainly used in biochemical treatment processes such as activated sludge process, to improve oxygen transfer efficiency by releasing small bubbles into the water. Traditional aerator maintenance requires stopping the tank to release water, while modern tubular designs (such as elevating ones) can complete maintenance without stopping work, greatly improving operational continuity and economy.
A tubular aerator typically consists of the following components:
Aeration membrane: commonly made of EPDM or silicone rubber, resistant to aging and corrosion.
Support pipe/air duct: made of PVC, ABS or polyethylene material, providing structural support and guiding air to be evenly distributed.
Connectors: Stainless steel fasteners are commonly used to ensure interface sealing and easy disassembly.
The working process is as follows:
Air enters the air duct through the air distribution pipeline, forming an annular air chamber between the membrane tube and the support body.
The membrane tube bulges under pressure, and the micropores open to release bubbles with a diameter of 1-3mm.
When the gas is stopped, the diaphragm elastic retracts and closes the hole to prevent sewage from flowing back.
