Production process of lamellar media including pp lamellar media and PVC lamellar media
1. Raw material preparation and pretreatment
Substrate selection:
Using corrosion-resistant polymer materials such as polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE), it is required to have a temperature resistance of 80-120 ℃ and high mechanical strength. The raw materials need to be dried to ensure a moisture content of less than 0.5%.
Additives such as antioxidant and ultraviolet absorber are added in proportion to improve the anti-aging performance of materials.
Granulation and mixing:
After the ingredients are mixed thoroughly by a mixer to produce uniform particles, if a mechanical mixer is used, a metering pump must be equipped to accurately control the quantity.
2. Honeycomb structure forming
Compression molding:
The granular material is pressed into shape by a mold after being washed with high-pressure water, and then cooled to form a hexagonal honeycomb inclined tube sheet with an inscribed circle diameter of 25-50mm and a wall thickness of 0.4-0.8mm.
The accuracy of the mold needs to ensure that the aperture uniformity error is ≤ 5% to avoid subsequent installation and adaptation problems.
3. Filling unit hot welding
Welding process:
Use a 200-300W soldering iron to connect the honeycomb board at a 60 ° angle. Each flat joint should be fully hot pressed, and at least four or more points should be welded at the joint on both sides to ensure the stability of the unit structure.
The area of a single hot stamping unit is usually 1m ², and after completion, it is stacked for backup, with loose pieces reserved for size adjustment.
4. Surface treatment and strengthening
Anti corrosion reinforcement:
The surface of honeycomb filling is treated with epoxy coal tar for corrosion prevention, or sprayed with nano titanium dioxide (TiO ₂) coating to enhance its anti fouling ability.
Some scenes increase the specific surface area and improve the efficiency of microbial biofilm formation through embossing technology.
5. Quality Inspection and Packaging
Performance verification:
Test compressive strength (≥ 50kPa), porosity (≥ 95%), and impact resistance, simulate continuous operation in a sewage environment to verify the backwash cycle.
Check if the weld strength reaches 90% or more of the base metal strength.
