Sludge Dewatering Machine Delivered to Guatemala

Today  two sets of sludge dewatering machine were delivered to  Guatemala. We are looking forward to the feedback of our customers.
 
Working principle and core process of screw press sludge dewatering machine
The sludge dewatering machine removes water from sludge through physical separation technology, and the main process includes pretreatment, dewatering stage, and subsequent treatment. In the pretreatment stage, coagulants are added to the conditioning and stirring tank to form a stable gel structure in the sludge. Then, it enters the concentration system (such as a centrifugal screen running at a speed of 30r.p.m.) to filter out a large amount of free water, and the solid content can be reduced to 0.5 ‰. During the dewatering stage, depending on the type of equipment, methods such as gravity dewatering, extrusion dewatering, or centrifugal separation are used. In the belt dewatering machine, the sludge runs at a speed of 17m/min on the filter belt, and first undergoes gravity dewatering to remove free water. Then, it passes through the wedge-shaped preloading zone and the "S" - shaped pressing section, and is further dewatered using the tension of the filter belt and the shear force of the roller press; The centrifugal dewatering machine relies on the centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation to separate solid and liquid, and the screw conveyor discharges the dewatered sludge. After dehydration, the filter cloth is automatically cleaned by a fan nozzle with a water pressure of 4kg/cm ², and the mud cake is removed by a scraper, reducing the moisture content to 40%~60%.
Types and technical characteristics of mainstream Dewatering screw press
Classified by structure and principle
Plate and frame type: Under closed conditions, sludge is squeezed by a high-pressure pump, and water is discharged through a filter cloth. The structure is simple but operates intermittently, suitable for small-scale processing.
Belt type: The upper and lower filter belts clamp the sludge and continuously dehydrate it through the gravity zone, pre pressure zone, and "S" type pressing section. The filter belt is made of vertical fiber material, which does not stick to the sludge and has low cleaning water volume and energy consumption (main engine power consumption ≤ 1.1kW/hr).
Centrifugal: composed of a rotary drum and a screw conveyor, it rotates at high speed (up to thousands of revolutions per minute) to generate centrifugal force to separate water, suitable for high viscosity sludge, but with high noise and energy consumption.
